The apartment is located at the foot of the slopes of the resort. It can accommodate 8 people.
Rental of our apartment in Alpe d’Huez
The apartment has 2 private double rooms, a sleeping area with 2 bunk beds and a double bedroom on the mezzanine (with a water source in the mezzanine). It is equipped with a kitchen, two bathrooms (showers) and 2 toilets including 1 independent.
The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen, a Nespresso coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, three hairdryers, a TV (Cable: Orange TV) and a broadband WIFI access.
You will also find, a vacuum cleaner Dyson as well as brooms and bucket for the routine maintenance.
The apartment is rented with a closed private car box, in the basement of the building, and a ski room for 8 pairs of ski (including shoe warmers for 8 pairs of ski boots). The apartment is “ski in / ski out“, it is not necessary to rent additional ski locker at the foot of the slopes.
Sheets and linen are provided and included in the rental price. If you prefer to bring your sheets, you will find below the sizes of beds and duvets:
- 3 double beds 140×200 equipped with 3 duvets 220×240
- 2 bunk beds 90×190 equipped with 2 quilts 140×200
- 14 pillows 65×65
On arrival, you will find some “essential”: toilet paper, paper towels, salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, liquid soap in the bathrooms, cleaning products … Thank you to restock before your departure .
Apartment access
The apartment is located in the heart of the resort, close to the main shopping street (Avenue des Jeux – 100m), with direct access to the slopes that runs through the resort.
By car
Plan 1h15 from Grenoble via Bourg d’Oisans.
You will have the chance to climb the famous 21 turns (those of the Tour de France) : 14 km and 9% average inclination. After the village of Huez, follow the direction Vieil Alpe (left at the fork). Upon entering the resort, follow the main road which will take you under a ski slope (pin on the left) then turn right in the rue du Coulet (at the hotel “Le Castillan”). You will pass the gendarmerie then again under the ski slope: The building is right in front of you. You can park a few minutes in front of the building to unload and recover the remote control opening the covered parking. The access ramp to the covered car park is the one on the right (lower level). The private box is the first on the left. The key to opening the box is the same as that of the apartment. The box is lit and equipped with an electrical outlet: you can store and maintain your bikes (the bikes stored at the bottom of the box and the cabinets are private, reserved for the owners of the apartment).

By bus
From Grenoble SNCF station, the “Transaltitude” buses leave you in 2 hours at the top of Avenue des Jeux (terminus: Avenue de l’Etendard), less than 200 m from the building. It is strongly recommended to reserve your seat in advance. The ticket entitles you to carry a suitcase, ski equipment and carry-on luggage for a package of € 18 one way.
By taxi
Whether you arrive by plane or train, the fastest and most convenient way to reach Alpe d’Huez is by taxi. Rates are high but justified by the distance. We strongly recommend two reliable partners:
